2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business name.

Business Data: With your permission, we access your business review profiles on platforms such as Google Business Profile, Yelp, and others to monitor and respond to reviews on your behalf.

Communication Data: If you opt in to receive SMS messages, we collect your phone number and maintain records of messages sent and received. We also collect call recordings when our AI agents make or receive calls on your behalf, with appropriate disclosure and consent.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use our platform, including page views, feature usage, and session duration.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, including monitoring your online reviews, generating AI-powered responses, making and receiving phone calls on your behalf, sending SMS notifications and alerts, analyzing business performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

4. SMS/Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive text messages from ReviewResQ, you consent to receive automated text messages related to your account, review alerts, appointment reminders, and service updates. Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-Out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can also contact us at support@reviewresq.com to request removal.

Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@reviewresq.com.

We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

5. AI-Powered Communications

ReviewResQ uses artificial intelligence to power certain communications, including phone calls and text messages. In accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws, we provide the following disclosures:

All AI-powered calls include a disclosure at the beginning that the caller is an AI assistant, not a human representative. Call recordings are stored securely and used for quality assurance and training purposes. You may opt out of AI-powered calls at any time by saying "STOP" during the call or contacting us directly.

6. Google User Data — Business Profile & Calendar

RVQ INC (operating as Review Rescue / ReviewResQ) accesses two Google services on your behalf via OAuth: Google Business Profile (for review monitoring and reply) and Google Calendar (for the AI receptionist to read your availability and book appointments during phone calls). Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6.1 Google Business Profile data

What we access: With your explicit authorization via OAuth, we access your Google Business Profile reviews, business information, and review metadata solely to provide our reputation management services.

How we use it: Google Business Profile data is used exclusively to display, monitor, and respond to your business reviews within the ReviewResQ platform. We do not use Google Business Profile data for advertising, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the user-facing features that are prominent in our interface, with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.

6.2 Google Calendar data

Scope requested: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar (full read + write access to the calendars you select).

Why we need read access: When a caller asks our AI receptionist (Aria) for an appointment, Aria queries your Calendar's freeBusy endpoint to find open slots that match your business hours and the requested service duration. We do not read event titles, descriptions, attendee lists, or other details — only the busy/free time windows.

Why we need write access: When the caller confirms a slot, Aria creates a single calendar event on the calendar you selected during onboarding. The event contains the caller's name, requested service, scheduled time, and (when provided by the caller) a phone number and email. Aria does not modify or delete events created by you or anyone other than herself.

What we do NOT do with Calendar data: We do not read pre-existing event content. We do not share calendar data with third parties, including for advertising. We do not train artificial intelligence or machine learning models on your calendar data. We do not aggregate or sell calendar data in any form.

How long we keep it: Free/busy windows are queried on demand and are not cached past the call. Event records we create are retained in your calendar (we have no separate copy outside the call audit log, which retains only the event identifier — not its content — for compliance lookups).

6.3 Storage, security, deletion, and Limited Use

Storage & Security: Google user data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorized services using role-based access controls. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with Google Cloud KMS.

Data Deletion: You may revoke RVQ INC's access to your Google data at any time by disconnecting the integration from your ReviewResQ dashboard, or by removing access through your Google Account permissions. Upon disconnection or account deletion, we delete all cached Google user data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Limited Use: RVQ INC's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs — including Google Calendar API data — will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google data to AI/ML model providers, advertising networks, or any third parties for their independent use.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to provide our services:

  • Twilio Inc. — provides the SMS messaging and voice telephony infrastructure that delivers our notifications and powers our AI receptionist. Phone numbers and message content pass through Twilio for delivery to carriers.
  • Google Cloud Platform — hosts our application servers, databases, and stores your data with encryption at rest.
  • Stripe Inc. — processes subscription payments. Your payment card data is held by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Anthropic / Google Vertex AI — large language model providers that draft and respond to messages on your behalf, with no data retention by the model providers.

All service providers are bound by data protection agreements limiting their use of your data to the purposes for which we share it.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+), access controls with role-based permissions, secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform), regular security audits, and PII hashing for sensitive identifiers.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we retain anonymized data for analytics and compliance records as required by law (typically 3-5 years for TCPA compliance records).

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@reviewresq.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
